Grow Your Vision

About Us

Hello!

My name is Emma!

I founded Valcore because I saw too many gifted students fall behind simply because they didn't have the tools to navigate a complicated school system. Supporting instructors, parents, and students deepened my belief that anyone can succeed when given the necessary tools. There's nothing I find more rewarding than helping a student feel confident in their learning abilities. A little more about me! I'm from France but grew up in Portugal. I moved to Texas in High School and completed my French Baccalauréat at the Awty International School. After that, I attended the University of Pennsylvania, where I majored in Neuroscience and English. In the past, I've worked as an instructor, center manager, and education director.  Outside the classroom, you can find me writing letters to those I love, climbing, playing tennis, and always remembering to ask questions.

Hi!

My name is Amber!

I’m originally from Alaska and I love to tell people all about it. I have a major in Classical Studies from the University of Pennsylvania where I also pursued my passions for Chemistry, Art History, and Archaeological Science.  During my studies, I've had the privilege of being a tennis coach for young children and mentoring college students in organic chemistry. For me, one of the most satisfying things is being able to put something you have learned to practical use.  I have a passion for history and alongside teaching, I work as a conservator in museum laboratories and at archaeological sites. During my off hours, I enjoy cooking, painting, and hiking
